See and test laser and acrylic cutter samples
At the Cresta showroom, you can handle real samples from the EngravCut Studio studio, including acrylic letter nests, engraved awards, signage plates and gift items. We run demos on benchtop lasers and cutter setups for visitors who book ahead, and you are welcome to bring your own sheet or small item to test. If you are worried about a specific finish, bring that challenge, whether it's a tricky acrylic you found in Joburg, a coated tumbler, or a particular MDF panel. We use the sample cell to show how cut quality, engraving depth and edge smoothness change with the right settings. It's also a good place if you want to see the difference between cast and extruded acrylic up close.

To get the most out of your appointment, come prepared with the details of your current job or cutter challenge. We check your files and settings with you, and can run a test cut on your sample if you bring the right material. Dont forget to note the thickness and type, as the difference between highveld and coastal stock sometimes matters. Photos of a problem job or unclear engraving always help us spot what might be going wrong.

Let us know if you want to test a specific material, need help with settings, or have a shop problem that needs a hands-on demo. If you need a certain time slot because of travel from nearby suburbs or a tight workday, add that in your note. We’ll confirm your booking and follow up with any info you need to prepare. Courier delivery is available across South Africa if you order any machines, fixture kits or materials after your session.
